Vaanam Audio Launch Postponed.

The mega audio launch of producer Ganesh's and STR Silambarasan's  ambitious film Vaanam scheduled to take place in London today (October 18) has been postponed.

The film is a remake of director Krish's Telugu hit Vedam and the multi-starrer has Silambarasan, Bharath, Prakash Raj, Anushka, Vega, Sneha Ullal and Sonia Aggarwal.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is providing music for the film was supposed to launch the audio with a single track in London. A 20- member team of the lead cast and technicians including special invitees Gautham Menon and Trisha were supposed to fly from Chennai to Heathrow in London on Friday night.

Unfortunately some members were denied visa by the British consulate on the day of travel. Producer Ganesh who spearheaded the entire tour plan is now working out another date, which is convenient to everyone.

Thalaivan STR Silambarasan, who is already in London for the shooting of Poda Podi told "guys the single relese date has been pushed since yuvan has not yet finished the song fully and the visa for the crew is comin only on tuesday .. will let u guys know the the date ... sorry guys :("

We are very much excited to reveal the details on the Cast and Crew of  Vaanam. To those who came in late, Vaanam is Simbu's next film and it is a remake of the Critically acclaimed Vedam from Telugu.

The photo shoot is over and has come up really well, please keep checking for the posters in a couple of days. The movie starts rolling from 10th and goes till July 30th after which Yss Simbu will fly to London for Pooda Podi.

Vaanam is what Simbu is upto.

With almost every site confirming the remake of the critically acclaimed Vedam by our Thalaivan Silambarasan, we are here with further more details. As said earlier, Manchu Manoj "Ennai theriyuma fame" will grease the role of a Rock star in the movie.

Meanwhile Simbu plays the role of a cable guy in a slum. He has a friend accompanying him throughout the movie and sources say that Santhanam would be casted in for it, but not yet confirmed.

It is also said that the music composer would be changed from the original Composer M.M.Keeravaani to that of a native composer. Reports say that Anoushka is considering her role, as she feels that she can't do enough justice to the role offered.

Simbu has given a 20 day long schedule for the movie and the shoot starts from this Saturday "10th July". Once he completes his part, he will fly to London where he will start shooting for the much awaited Pooda Podi.

Will Simbu share Screen Space?

The second time entrant from Tollywood, Anushka has been tweeted to share screen space with Simbhu by director Bhoopathy Pandian.

After films like 'Devadhaiyai Kanden' and 'Thiruvilaiyadal Arambam', Bhoopathy took a long break but now is ready to slam back with force. He cut ties with Dhanush and has now prepared a script for Simbhu. The actor consented to be part of the film once Gautam Menon's 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya' gets over, and will begin work for this untitled flick.
Right after 'Vettaikaran', Anushka's call sheet diary has the dates vacant and Simbhu is keen to pair up with the actress.
