Sneha Ulal pairs opposite to STR in Vaanam.

It is Officially confirmed now that Sneha Ulal the look alike of Aiswarya Rai, who acted in Block buster Telugu movie Current and Simha is signed up to act along side STR Thalaivan Silambarasan. Sneha Ulal plays a soft rich girl in the movie.

Shooting with the lead actors will take place this week. Vaanam will be a Diwali release. Once the shoot is done STR Thalaivan Silambarasan will fly to London to shoot for the much awaited Pooda Podi.

After Stern reports of Lingu sacking Thalaivan STR @ Simbu, today STR gave a confirmation on what really happened. We all know how our Hero as turned after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and his career was well restructured with perfect selection of scripts. So here is what that had happened,

According to the reports, Simbu was signed by Lingusamy's Tirupati Brothers in the month of January to be directed by Bhoopathy Pandian. But later Lingu dropped the project and the movie was said to be produced by Dhayanidhi Azhagiri's Cloud Nine with Lingu directing the movie.

Simbu added that " Technically I have not signed any film with Cloud Nine nor have I alloted any dates to them. Durai ( Dhayanidhi Azhagiri) is my close friend and we share a great rapport. Lingusamy has not been able to narrate the script to me till date nor did he tell me the exact dates that he wanted. I waited for over 100 days in vain for his complete script and then I decided to do a quickie Vaanam. I had informed Dorai "As said in simbucentral" about it, before he left to South Africa for the Football Finals and he promised me that we will start the shoot from September 1. 

But I was shell shocked to read reports in the media that Lingusamy has sacked me ! How can he expect me to wait for more than 100 days without a proper script or dates of shoot? I had told him that I will be free from September 1, after 15 days shoot of Pooda Podi in London, which has already been fixed. But he jumped the gun and announces that I have been replaced by another actor ! This is totally Un-Professional and not done. I have nothing more to say. I was true, and my friends and fans are around me.

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya @ VTv, a movie made for lovers and a movie that bought in the real feel of lovers across the globe. We are proud to say that the movie has crossed the 125 days mark, which no other tamil movie in the recent time has done. In a period where, running a movie for 50 days finds to be a hard struggle, VTv has crossed the golden sign with the praise and support from the audience.

We thank each and every one of the Audience, Press, Online portals, Fans, Friends and Lovers for making this happen.

The video presented above was done by Arvin our Creative Moderator. We had little time, so we were not able to make a movie presentation. Fans who are good at it, can make a video presentation with the audio. The audio presentation carries the extreme characterization of the character Karthik in the movie.

Destination London For Simbu.

With the sets drawn and the team of Podaa Podi gearing up for thier first schedule of shoot, our Thalaivan Yss Silambarasan aka Simbu is flying in to London tomorrow. The details of the arrival has not been announced publicly with security in mind.

Simbu is down here to scout for locations and costumes for his forthcoming flick. The entire team will fly in here by July first week and the shoot starts the same week, which continues for a period of two months.

So here is the news loud and clear. Simbu is about to show his presence in London. We can't provide him with a Red Carpet welcome , we are here to welcome him with our Red Colored Hearts.  ;)

‘Love should strike and devastate’ : Simbhu

It took just one film for Simbu to break free from the rest and race ahead. All without performing a single eye-popping stunt, spouting a smart line that would become common parlance, or changing getups. He just played Karthik, a boy-next-door, uncertain at first, then ecstatic and, finally, tormented by his love.

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa by Gautham Vasudev Menon didn’t just buck the trend of potboiler films that were mere showcases for superstardom, it gave Simbu new direction and, by the star’s own admission, has set him on a different path. He now wants his roles to go beyond dishum-dishum and exaggerated style.

 He’s currently working on Podaa Podi with Vignesh Shivaa, who’s also a school friend. “And the project with Lingusamy will also be a more balanced film — by which, I mean a more sensible mix of commercial elements and sensible art,” he says.

There was a realness to the way Simbu and Trisha translated their emotions on screen. “Perhaps, if I were to see a girl and fall in love in an instant, that’s the way I would’ve expressed myself,” Simbu says. And, no, it’s not happening in real life right now for him. “I’ve been single for the past three years or so, waiting to discover that moment,” he says.

“After Vinnai..., I see girls who would earlier just watch Simbu, the actor, from a distance, now come up and approach me. It proves to be a problem at times,” he says, “Because I don’t believe it’s about meeting someone, getting to know them and falling in love. Love has to strike you, hit you, devastate you, all in a flash.” Just the way Karthik in the movie experienced it.

And yes, he says, he believes in eternal love even in this age of speed dating and when it’s an online status message that announces it’s over.

My next film is with Silambarasan for producer Durai Alagiri. After VTV, Simbu has become a major star and has a new-found elite audience following. 

My mission now is to write a script that will cater to his audiences as well as my mass constituency. I think it is going to be a deadly combination at the box-office. 

We are going to Macau to do some brainstorming and work out a viable script. Yuvan will compose music for the film and we are on the hunt for a new heroine.”

Well, it known that Simbu will not sign in Tamannah and would instead suggest for a new comer from Bollywood as the movie needs one such character.

Podaa Podi is starting Officially Today.

Podaa Podi, a quite familiar tamil word and a expected word for the fans of Style Icon, Yss Thalaivan Silambarasan. It was announced years back on 2008 that the movie would be shot at Canada and would be released by February 14th of 2009.

But the time was not aspire at that season and the movie, was thrown at shelves for almost a year now. After the successful presentation of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, Simbu now joins with the newbie Vignesh Shiva, who is also a childhood friend of his.

The music is said to be from the boards of Dharan an key master when it comes to peppy and romantic numbers.

The Producers Shananya Tele films have confirmed the news that Podaa Podi is officially starting today with pooja and other corporate level work. It is said they are planning to shoot a month from now.

The place where the shoot will start has not been mentioned, but the sources say it will be at Canada. London was first preferred but later it was said it was avoided as the climate is hot at the moment there.

Varalakshmi the daughter of Supreme Star Sarath Kumar is back at Podaa Podi and this denies her leaving off from Podaa Podi by media and as said at Simbucentral.

Vtv at 350 Screens.

News, news and news it is all news for Thalaivan Yss Silambarasan's fans. With VTv about to release this Friday 26th February, it is said that Red Giant Movies the distributor of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya has planned to show the movie in 350 screens across the world. Chennai alone as 16 Theatres screening the movie. The distributor is planning to screen the movie in an other 50 screens.


With Speculations growing up for the movie, rumors started to flow in that Ace Director Gowtham Menon has shot two climax for the movie, which the Director has rejected as Gossip.


It is also said that Sathyam Cinemas will have have a Premiere show for all the celebrities on the first week of its release. We believe that it is on the 28th of February. 


A scoop news for the fans. Thalaivan Yss Silambarasan will address the fans after the movie release on his upcoming movie and also on why he opted out of Ko and whether Asin is in Vaaliban or not.
