Trans Studio World is in the area of Trans Studio Resort and located in the Integrated Global Tourism and Business Region, Tanjung Bunga, Makassar, South Sulawesi Province. Only about five kilometers from Centre City of Makassar (Karebosi Field).
Overview
Trans Studio World Theme Park adopted the concept of Universal Studios in the United States. Contain spaces simulation of several Trans TV (television station) program or events in Indonesia. The new concept of Trans Studio World will also gives a new experience.
Some of them are Tsunami Island. Tourist come into stricken atmosphere, complete with earthquake. There is also the Magic Museum, the museum with items such as living in Night at the Museum movie, Other World, Rafting, Terror Twister, Magic Corner, Lost World, and other attractions.
In addition to the theme park, several other facilities that are built are hotels, supermarkets, shopping mall, recreational beach arena, marina, office facilities, bank, and cafes. Trans Studio World will be operated in June. Gradually, the whole project completed in 2010.
Trans Studio Resort occupies 14 hectares of land. Studio Trans World is the first indoor theme park in Indonesia and bigest indoor theme park in the world. While the terms of the area as a whole, this is the biggest theme park after Jaya Ancol Dreamland Park in Jakarta.
